In 2003 Sky Fire Gems was born from a love of natural gemstones and fossils and a creative energy found in and fueled by each other.

Our beginning was filled with rock hounding adventures around the south west.  After collecting so many awesome stones we put together a "Gem Show" booth and sold our rough findings along with other gems we found in our travels.  One day a simple lapidary machine crossed our path and we began making jewelry.

Now Sky Fire Gems has evolved into a multi-faceted business.  Making jewelry and being creative is our passion, but we also love collecting antiques and oddities.  You can find us at Art shows displaying our jewelry and Antique shows with our collections around the SF Bay area and beyond. 

We love collecting unique gems from around the world and creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.   Every stone has such an unique character and we are blessed to have the ability to work with them.   The stones are truely our inspiration.  

Using a variety of lapidary tools and processes,   Dan creates gemstone pendants for both men and women.  His unique "go with the flow" style enables him to create very distinct and individual pieces.  Bree creates unusual wire settings using a fine sterling silver and 14K gold filled wire.  

Our designs always grow and develop.  You just never know what we will dream up next!  Imagination has no limits.
